Thank you Madiba

Well as the world knows.... today is Nelson Mandela's Birthday and so MrEvixa and i thought that we should create an African chillstep tribute for his special day as a way of thanking him for everything he has done for us... being South Africans, and also promote his charity.

where everyone is able to TAKE PART IN. its not a charity that one has to donate money but more of random acts of kindness.
Its known as 67 minutes
which represent the 67 years that he fought
for the struggle in South Africa to put an end to apartheid. read more about it on

Searching for talent

So as i said in my last post MrEvixa and i were invited to go to the Grahamstown Festival where we were on the look out for any unheard talent, that is why i haven't been blogging for a while, i have been away looking for some unheard songs and talent that, i deem worthy to blog about. Cause at the end of the day i don't want people to be listening to horrible music.

So unfortunately going to G-Town as they call it was a waste of time in a sense if i were looking for musical talent. But i was there for during their preforming arts festival, not a music festival.
Many may think that im foolish to go to a festival that isn't targeting music but, in fact did you know that during the festival many of the night clubs hire talent from around the country to preform.
Unfortunately this year they didn't find anyone worth while.

I was able to find one person in G-town who was able to introduce me to a song that not many people have heard or know about, and i thought i would share it with you guys.

Hectic 2 weeks

I must first apologize for the lack of blogging, but there was a perfectly good explanation to why i couldn't. MrEvixa and i were invited the the Grahamstown Festival of arts, Where we were able to look for new up and coming talent.

The talent we found in Grahamstown was out of this world and we are busy having talks with the Djs as im typing this to get there music exclusively on the MrEvixa page.

But as I promised with trance week we have the latest and and most underground trance songs from our trance week.I will also be discussing one of the artists to give... you the viewer a little bit of knowledge and culture ;)

we start off with Above and beyond, who to most are like who ?
but they are huge in the trance scene so im just hear to open your eyes up  to whats out there.

Above & Beyond is an English dance music group formed in 2000 and consists of the members Jono Grant, Tony McGuinness, and Paavo Siljamäki. They have their own record labelAnjunabeats, which releases trance and progressive music, and they also host their own weekly radio show Group Therapy Radio. The group's tracks are regularly played by DJs around the world, including Armin van Buuren, Gareth Emery, Ferry Corsten, and Kyau & Albert. On 19 October 2012 DJ Magazine announced the results of their annual Top 100 DJ Poll, with Above & Beyond placed at #8 in the world.
